Introducing new medicinal plants
We are thrilled to announce the addition of three incredible new plants to our medicinal collection. First, we are introducing Madagascar periwinkle, a natural source of compounds used in chemotherapy for leukemia and lymphoma. While we emphasize that it does not replace medical treatment, its availability for supportive herbal use marks a significant step in our farm's mission.
The "mushroom of immortality" and turmeric
Next, we are cultivating Reishi mushroom, often called the "mushroom of immortality," renowned for boosting the immune system and helping reduce side effects from conventional cancer therapy. It pairs wonderfully with our paulownia flowers in tea blends. Additionally, we are growing turmeric for its rich curcumin content, extensively studied for its anti-inflammatory and cancer-preventive properties. All these plants are grown right here at Blossom Heaven Farm, ensuring purity and potency.
Blossom Heaven Farm's evolution and unique practices
We are thrilled to announce that after over a decade as a sole proprietorship, Blossom Heaven Farm is now officially incorporated in 2026. This milestone coincides with our expansion beyond paulownia into a dedicated medicinal plant sanctuary. Our farm is unique due to our whole-tree philosophy, utilizing every part of the paulownia tree: leaves for tea, flowers for anti-inflammatory remedies, bark for skin treatments, and pods for respiratory support, all while still producing premium hardwood. We have also started experimenting with stacked harvesting and are developing our own small-batch drying facility to process botanicals on-site, ensuring peak potency.
